Engineering Wales Conference 2017

As part of the Welsh Government’s Sêr Cymru initiative The National Research Network (NRN) in Advanced Engineering and Materials (AEM) hosts 'Engineering Wales.' This inaugural event is designed to enhance the voice of engineering from within Wales and promote its activities and scientific achievements during a one day event through an array of talks and workshops with the promotion of industry and academia collaboration at its heart.

Collaborate 2017

Collaborate 2017 is dedicated to celebrating and promoting collaborative projects and partnerships across industry, academia, Government, health boards and other organisations. Bringing together representatives from across the region and beyond, the event is hosted by Swansea University, ARCH, ABM and Hywel Dda University Health Boards. Alongside the event’s high profile speakers, there will also be a series of themed breakout sessions, exhibition space and opportunity for attendees to network for further collaboration.

Swansea Science Festival 2017

Making science fun for all the family! Swansea University is to showcase its inspiring and diverse research as it launches a brand new, free, science festival, the largest event of its kind in Wales. The festival will be on 8th-10th September and is in partnership with the National Waterfront Museum. A full programme of events has been launched, revealing diverse topics such as dinosaurs, levitation, Star Wars, maggots and particle physics in sport, are amongst the highlights in store for visitors.
