The manufacturing technology course provides an overview of common manufacturing techniques and methods as well as covering some of the technical aspects associated with these techniques.

Who should attend?

The course is aimed at people who wish to gain/improve their knowledge of manufacturing, manufacturing processes and their link to materials. Typical attendees include technical personnel, production managers, production operators, engineers and trainees.  The delegates do not need to have any formal qualifications but as the course is first year degree level they should be able to engage on a technical course.

Course aims

To provide a core understanding of manufacturing processes, material considerations during these processes and general manufacturing mentality. The course will provide an insight into the technical aspects of manufacturing and highlight processing considerations and common defects.
